Yearly billing toggle silently breaks checkout submit
Visitors who pick Indie and switch to yearly billing land on a Start trial button that does nothing. Most click twice, then leave.
Likely cause
Toggling billing period clears the selected plan in state. Submit fires with an empty payload and the API rejects it without surfacing an error.
